About Us

Jeff Lemke, founder of Falcon Design & Engineering, Inc., has been restoring, designing, engineering and producing high end sports car products for over 35 years. His passion for exciting products is evident in the designs, from the Dodge Viper Hard Tops to the Falcon F7 supercars. Here are some of the highlights from the past that hints to what is in store for upcoming products for the all new, exciting mid-engine Corvette.

ABOUT US

The success of the 3 Piece stowable RT/10 hardtops revealed a demand for more products. In 2003, Dodge introduced the generation 3 Viper and some felt it appeared a bit too tame compared to the original wild versions of the first two generations. Inspired by the competition coupe race car and original SRT Viper show car, Lemke and his team set out to produce a wide body, wilder version of the car with a proper intimidating stance and presence. Several of these Street Serpent Vipers were built in the facility in Holly, Michigan. The cars were 3" wider with a wider track and some of the coupes had a 2" lower roofline with functional scoop. The convertible versions utilized the more aggressive rear fascia design from the competitive ACR Vipers.

With the passing of the 2006 Ford GT from production, Jeff could feel the void in the American mid-engine supercar market and set out to create a wild exotic mid-engine supercar made right in the Detroit area. No small task. Through years of development and design, The Falcon F7 Supercar was introduced to the public at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The design inspiration was a retro-modern cocktail of all of Jeff's favorite sports cars in history, including the Ferrari 288 GTO, Ford GT, Corvettes of old and the Dodge Viper.  The Falcon was a huge hit at the show, and Motor Trend gave it high praise for it's appearance in show car concept form.

The following year the first customer delivered car was on display at the show, and orders were placed around the country for the hand crafted supercar. The car featured an all aluminum chassis with carbon fiber reinforced cockpit, all panels of every component were carbon fiber and a 620 HP LS based engine launched the 2850 lb car like the rocket it set out to be. Lingenfelter Engineering also created a twin turbo1100 HP engine for the car. All cars where mated to a 6-spd manual transaxle and were nothing short of an ultimate, thrilling driving experience.
